Are you taking new patients?
Yes, Doxa Health and Wellness LLC is open to take new patients via our Telehealth platform ONLY. To request an appointment, Please call the office to schedule.

What age groups do you work with?
We work with clients, from children age 6 to adults of any age.

What types of services do you offer and how do I determine which ones I need?
If you have been struggling with challenges related to your mental health and need to talk to somebody, we can assist you in scheduling an appointment with one of our clinicians. Doxa Health and Wellness LLC provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management.

Do you provide therapy?
Our services may include supportive therapy during medication management visits. Therapy sessions alone are currently not being offered at our practice as of yet. However, we do currently provide referrals to therapists.

What do I need to participate in Telehealth?
You will need a device that allows both audio and video communication. This may be a computer, tablet, phone, etc. During your appointment time, we will send a link to your device which you simply click on to be connected to a video call with the provider.
Our clinicians provide face-2-face telehealth through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform which is easy and simple to use.

What if I would rather come to the office for appointments?
Unfortunately, at this time, Doxa Health and Wellness LLC only conducts Telehealth sessions.

Do you accept insurance?
Yes, We're currently in network with Aetna, CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Medicaid and Medicare. Please note coverage varies depending on your insurance plan and the services you need.

What if I don’t have insurance and want to pay out of pocket?
If you do not have insurance/want to pay out of pocket, below is a good faith estimate of various service charges:
Initial psychiatric evaluation up to 60 minutes- $250
Each medication management appointment (Follow-Up) for up to 30 minutes- $150
Medication management with psychotherapy up to 40 minutes- $200

Can you provide service to me out of state?
Our clinicians are currently only licensed to practice within Maryland.

Can you fill out a form I need for school/ work/ court/ disability accommodations/ etc?
We'll gladly assist in completing any requested forms. In order to accurately complete forms it is a required that care has been established for at least 6 months, especially for completion of disability forms. More details are provided in our psychiatric Services/Practice Policies form.

What is a CRNP-PMH?
A CRNP-PMH is a certified registered nurse practitioner who specializes in psychiatric mental health. They are advanced practice nurses who hold Masters or doctorate degrees in Nursing. They are board certified and licensed in their respective state to provide psychiatric services to individuals of all ages. They are experienced and trained to assess, diagnose, treat and manage chronic and acute mental health conditions. They can provide psychotherapy, prescribe medication, order labs, perform and interpret lab tests and other diagnostic studies. They work closely with the patient/family to come up with a treatment plan that best fits the patient’s mental health needs.
